Disney World is a short two hours away. Busch Gardens is about an hour south and an excellent nature preserve with manatees is a few minutes away. The Seminole Hard Rock casino is an hour and a quarter south.
Major airports are available in Tampa, St. Petersburg and Orlando.
If you like to cruise, several major cruise lines offer regular cruises around the Caribbean leaving from the Port of Tampa.
Residents of the Nature Coast enjoy a mean average temperature of 71.5 degrees (60.8 degrees  in January, 80.8 degrees in July). Average rainfall is 53.9 inches. Our proximity to the Gulf affords lovely, cooling breezes in the warmer summer months.
